Telephone Consultation for Psychotherapists

Howard helps therapists practicing in Georgia avoid legal and ethical pitfalls through telephone consultations to place therapists on the right path forward when a serious concern arises in their practice.

In the event of a licensing board complaint, it is always a good idea to talk with Howard first before talking with your malpractice insurance. Howard also maintains a list of private attorneys who have practiced before licensing boards in Georgia.

Howard does not consult on administrative issues in therapy practice, insurance concerns, or issues pertaining to a group practice such as non-compete clauses and contracts.

Late Case Evaluation For Lawyers and their Clients

Family law resolutions at late case evaluations must take into account the emotional aspects of the case as well as the legal intricacies of finances, business evaluations, and complex custody issues (i.e. addiction and mental health issues). Howard recognizes that there are always two sides to a coin and evaluates very carefully each party’s realistic needs and concerns.

Drawing on his 46 years of trial experience as a member of the Georgia Bar, Howard presents to the parties and their counsel the likely outcome if the case goes to trial.

Howard’s fee for late case evaluations is $300 per hour.
